Our Mission Statement

The Academy for the Art of Metal Shaping is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational facility that teaches metal shaping and coachbuilding skill sets through a variety of long and short-form classes. It is our mission to provide training of an Old World art form through multiple skill sets in Coachbuilding and metal shaping, which will encompass contemporary technologies. We proudly offer classes to Americans and students worldwide that get them back to working with their hands and are helping to establish a workforce that our great nation can utilize in future endeavors of automotive prototyping, metal shaping, and technological advancement.

Book A Class

Our 1-Year class, and  5-day classes are available for the 2019 school year. Book two weeks in advance for an individual class or group class. New, lower rates are available for select classes! The Academy for the Art of Metal Shaping, Inc. is located in Green Bay, WI and classes are taught by 38-year industry veteran and Master CoachBuilder, Mark Gerisch. AAMS has exclusive partnerships with Baileigh Industrial, Inc., Miller Welding, Road America, and Rusch Machine & Design, Inc.

Our  5-day classes are customizable to meet your needs. Not every class can and will be the same; our instructor utilizes his wide skillset to teach students exactly what they need to know.
